1. What is the cost of living?
That varies, but if one is single, it runs roughly $2,000 per month.
2. Can you help with finding an apartment?
Yes, your sales manager will help you. There will be a security deposit required. Rents range from $600 – $1200 per month.
3. What kind of visa will I be on?
Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) is a quality visa that governs your legal status in Japan and South Korea. If you are not an American citizen, a spousal visa (i.e. if you’re married to Japanese or Korean national) will suffice.
4. What kind of training do I receive?
You will receive an intensive, world-class hands-on sales and administrative training class.
5. Where will I work?
You will be assigned a position on a US military base in either Japan (Okinawa), South Korea, or Guam. We are part of the base store system called “The Exchange”.
6. Is there medical insurance?
A high-quality CIGNA insurance plan is available.
7. I can sell, how much can I earn?
Once established and productive, earning potential ranges from $50,000 to $150,000 annually.
8. Will I be able to take vacations and go sightseeing?
Yes, vacations are encouraged if you are on or over objective to recharge.
9. Will I go from base to base selling?
You will represent Military AutoSource at a particular base, often as part of sales team at that particular base. You might be asked to represent us for short stints at other bases, but this is an exception rather than the rule.
10. Do you hire part time?
Yes, if you are a military spouse or are already a member of the US military community in some fashion then we can offer part time positions.
